Director
Kasra Farahani is an experienced feature film Art Director. Noon is the debut writing and directing effort for Kasra, who has spent his career in the art departments of master filmmakers like JJ Abrams, Steven Spielberg, Michael Mann, Tim Burton, James Cameron, and David Fincher. Inspired by the mastery of these filmmakers, Kasra hopes to tell stories that combine the awe of visual worlds with the substantive drama that comes from the conflict of well realized characters.
Synopsis
"Noon" is a scene from a completed feature screenplay by Kasra Farahani and Ari Bilow (WGA# 1483455). The teaser sets up the world’s unique premise and introduces our protagonist, Gray, a coyote numbed to the cruelty of the world and his part in it. We watch Gray struggle to salvage what humanity still exists within him when profit is pitted against morality.
